The Witchhead Nebula located in the Orion Arm of the Milky Way was the site of the Battle of Witchhead, in which a massive fleet of Nietzschean ships ambushed the remnants of the High Guard fleet. The Andromeda crew once visited the nebula by accident because of Time Travel in the episode "Angel Dark, Demon Bright".
In our own time, IC 2118 near the supergiant star Rigel in Orion is also known as The Witch Head Nebula for its shape.
