Overview[]
A star is a massive, luminous sphere of plasma held together by its own gravity. By the time of the series, an Artificial star has been made a reality. As the most visible and galactically static element of a solar system, stars are used by many species as points of reference, and to codify the contents of the heavens. The explosion of a star is a nova or supernova, and the subsequent collapse of time-space creates a Black Hole.
