Overview[]
The Orca Pride is a piratical Nietzschean pride numbering in the thousands. It was founded by Saladin Cree.
History[]
From about 100 AFC, the Orca had preyed on the Than Hegemony through use of a plasma cannon that could move their asteroid habitat from system to system. Orca Pride's days of piracy ended when the Andromeda Ascendant assisted the Than in their effort to remove the pride from their space. The Andromeda's Nietzschean crewman, Tyr Anasazi, promised the Orca's Alpha the ship in exchange for a mate, Freya Rajput. Tyr ultimately turned on the Orca at the last minute and with Than on their way, Orca Pride had to flee to a new home. Being an old ally of the Drago-Kazov Pride, its 3000 members became an important ally in the war against the New Systems Commonwealth following the Second Systems Commonwealth Civil War.
