Michael Ironside is a Canadian-born actor. He is known for his roles in other sci-fi/fantasy films and television such as: Highlander II: The Quickening, V: The Final Battle, and V: The Series. He tends to specialize in tough characters, a good example being General Sam Lane on 'Smallville', the father of Lois Lane, played by Erica Durance.
