James Marsters is an American actor and a musician. He best known for playing Spike in Buffy: The Vampire Slayer and Angel. More recently, he has appeared in the British TV series Torchwood, a Doctor Who spin-off, playing Captain Jack Hart, in Smallville in the role of Brainiac and his descendant Brainiac 5, and in Warehouse 13 as Bennett Sutton, an immortal and generally immoral hoarder of artifacts.
