Christopher Judge is an actor. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, and is of African and Cherokee Indian ancestry.
He attended the University of Oregon, which he went to after receiving a football scholarship. While at college, he was a pre-med major, then a psychology major, then a telecommunications major, and finally a film major. In his senior year he won a regional contest to host a morning television show, which got him on the track of becoming an actor.
Christopher finally began studying at the Howard Fine Institute in LA in 1989. Some of his early roles in the acting business were Bird on a Wire, Neon Rider, Cadence, as well as MacGyver, which starred a future Stargate actor as well. Judge also began to have small parts in various television shows and some movies such as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, 21 Jump Street, and House Party 2. He also became a regular star on the show Sirens from 1994 to 1995.
However, Judge is most well known for his largest role, which started in 1997 with the science fiction TV show Stargate SG-1. He apparently saw his friend's roommate practicing for an audition, and was interested. He auditioned for the show and got the part. He went on to star in every season. Out of all the actors in Stargate SG-1, Judge has been in the most episodes.
